The Expansion of the Robinson Preserve is officially open! The map image on the right is the most up to date information on both preserves and what is happening with trail closures and kayak/walking trail access. This new addition to the park lets you explore the back side of Robinson Preserve on their state of the art rubber mulch trails and beautifully crafted bridges and walk ways. Here at this part of the preserve the new observation center is open on selected dates and is available to rent through natural resources. The beautiful Mosaic Center for Nature, Exploration, Science and Technology or NEST is located at the new Robinson Preserve Expansion. Tucked in at the corner of 9th Ave NW and 99th Street NW in northwest Bradenton, the NEST is a gorgeous multi-purpose space.  The building is managed by the Parks and Natural Resources Department's Volunteer and Education Division and is home to a variety of hands-on interpretive programming designed for all ages.  At this time the kayak trails do not connect to the original trails of the Robinson Preserve but will in the future.
