Information on the Robinson Preserve:

This 487 acre preserve has undergone an incredible transformation from disturbed farmland to coastal and wetland habitats. To restore the land to its natural state, the Natural Resources Department has partnered with a number of state and local agencies. Funding for Robinson Preserve was provided by Florida Communities Trust Florida Forever Program as well as the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Sarasota Bay Estuary Program, Florida Communities Trust, Army Corps of Engineers, and Southwest Florida Water Management District. 



Location: There are multiple entrances for your convience:  
The aquatic entrance: 9800 Manatee Ave W, Bradenton Fl 34209 at the surfer bus
The residential entrance: 1704 99th st, Bradenton Fl 34209
Perico Island hike in entrance: 10600 block of Manatee Ave W. under the hump back bridge.

**For rental of kayak and paddle boards www.surferbus.com  (941-527-6355) will provide you with the best trip in town! If your group exceeds seven please call (941) 745-3727 to make the park personnel aware of your timing in advance

**There are hard copies of the park rules on the back of maps that are dispensed throughout the park in which all visitors are to abide by while on park property.
 
There are public restrooms and water fountains available.
Dogs on leashes are welcomed

The preserve is open to the public 7 days a week from 7am-6pm. Preserve maps are available at the entrance, come and visit the Valentine House for special events and presentations at the Robinson Preserve.
